San Francisco emergency responders are attempting to rescue a driver whose car is perched on rocks in the water along the Bay on Thursday morning after it drove off northbound Highway 101, near Candlestick Park, causing traffic delays.
Four people have been rescued after their boat caught on fire in San Francisco Bay Saturday morning.
Officials at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area said vandals are responsible for destroying thousands of native plants and equipment at the state park, which is scheduled to be closed in July.
The report cards are in and while most beaches in the Bay Area passed with flying colors, there are a few that need to improve in terms of water quality.
