Study Projects Higher Earthquake Death Toll Over Next Century

Large, catastrophic earthquakes causing larger death tolls and creating greater destruction are expected to increase in the 21st century, according to a newly published study led by U.S. Geological Survey engineering geologist Thomas Holzer.
