Gay Rights Activists Divided Over Hagel’s Nomination As Defense Secretary
Despite misgivings from some gay rights advocates, President Barack Obama announced Monday he will nominate former GOP U.S. Sen. Chuck Hagel as his next defense secretary, calling him “the leader our troops deserve.”
