Obama Orders Federal Protection For Massive Swath Of Bay Area Coastline

President Barack Obama signed an executive order Thursday that will permanently ban oil drilling off the Northern California coast by expanding the Gulf of the Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries.
