NWS: Funnel Clouds Spotted Over South Sacramento

The National Weather Service tweeted pictures of funnel clouds over South Sacramento, Tuesday afternoon.

Tornado Touches Down Near Sacramento, Funnel Cloud Reported In Contra Costa Co.

The National Weather Service reports that a funnel cloud was spotted in eastern Contra Costa County Wednesday afternoon during a thunderstorm that triggered tornado warnings for Sacramento and other central California counties.

Storm Spawns Another NorCal Tornado

The National Weather Service said no damage has been reported after the tornado was spotted in a rural area about 5 miles north of Yuba City around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Wild Weather Brings Tornado, Hail To Bay Area

A tornado destroyed a wood and corrugated metal shed at a business in Santa Rosa Friday morning, while hail was reported in parts of East Bay Friday night.
