Perhaps the biggest surprise of the NFC Championship victory wasn’t that the 49ers beat the Falcons, but what took place in the locker room during the presentation of the George Halas trophy. Eddie DeBartolo accepted the hardware alongside Denise DeBartolo York with proud nephew Jed York beaming in the background.
