Daily Madden: Packers Will Struggle Without Rodgers

Wallace replaced Rodgers after he suffered a shoulder injury in the first quarter. The Bears beat the Packers 27-20, and Madden expects the Packers to continue to struggle without Rodgers, who could be out several weeks.

Daily Madden: Raiders Face Tall Order In Denver

The 1-1 Oakland Raiders face the 2-0 Broncos in Denver Monday night. The Raiders have improved on offense, but John Madden told the KCBS Radio crew that most likely won’t be enough. “They still have to play against (Broncos quarterback) Peyton Manning,” Madden said.

49ers Outlast Packers In Thrilling Season Opener

The 49ers and Packers are expected to be two of the last teams standing this season, and they showed why in Sunday’s game. The two waged war for four quarters, with each team holding a lead in the 4th, before San Francisco was able to take control and hold off Green Bay to earn the win.
