Some Palo Alto parents want the school district to take immediate action to address academic stress among high school students. The group is called “We Can Do Better Palo Alto,” and was formed after four Gunn High School students committed suicide in 2009.
Good news for bleary-eyed high school students in Palo Alto, Gunn High School is looking at moving its start time to later in the morning to give students more opportunity to catch at least a few extra minutes of sleep.
The winner was to be revealed from The Hague, Netherlands, and it was a revelation that would be closely watched by a Gunn High School student who was among four finalists for the prize.
