U.S. Navy Sailors Sue Japan Power Co. For Radiation Exposure During 2011 Quake, Tsunami Rescue

Hundreds of U.S. sailors who took part in rescue efforts following Japan’s earthquake and tsunami say they were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation and are bringing a class-action lawsuit against Tokyo Electric Power Company.

Barnacle-Covered Boat Confirmed As 1st Debris From Japan Tsunami To Reach California

Federal officials say a fishing boat that washed ashore in Northern California is the first debris to reach the state that’s been confirmed as having come from the Japanese tsunami.
