Gold Hill Lutheran Church pastor Tim Christiensen said in the video that he had planned a full sermon on “wine and servanthood” for his 11 a.m. Mountain time service, just minutes before kickoff. Instead, he simply offered the wine to the congregation and wrapped up his appearance in less than a minute, according to a video posted on YouTube.
