A vigil was held Monday front of the supermarket where Michaela Garecht was taken 24 years ago. Meanwhile, police said DNA test results on a bone fragment that possibly linked to the case will be delayed.
The mother of missing Hayward girl Michaela Garecht is hoping DNA testing will lead to closure in a case that has puzzled detectives for over two decades, and link the case to the infamous Speed Freak Killers.
The newest development into the disappearance of Michaela Garecht involves two convicted killers known as the “Speed Freak Killers.”
Police said they have questioned the Antioch couple convicted of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard about the 1988 disappearance of a 9-year-old girl in Hayward.
