A hiker in Santa Cruz County found the body of a 32-year-old San Jose man who went missing last month and an autopsy has deemed his death a homicide, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
Eric Dean Garcia, 32, also known as “Pee-Ka” was last seen at 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 18 near Vine and Goodyear streets.
The body of Charles “Charlie” Dowd, 69, was spotted by a railway worker in Haigler, Neb., an area between Fort Morgan, Colo. and McCook, Neb., according to a statement by family members.
