U.S. Forest Service To Require News Media Buy Pricey Permits Before Taking Photos, Videos On Federal Lands

The U.S. Forest Service is finalizing new regulations that could change the landscape of media coverage of issues dealing with federally maintained wild land, requiring expensive permits before photography is allowed, and imposing hefty fines for news organizations that violate the process.
