SF Supervisors Backing Plan To Ban New Bars On Polk Street

The proposal, by Sup. David Chiu, was drafted in response to neighbor complaints that that there are simply too many places offering alcohol on the strip, between California and O’Farrell streets. There are 45 active alcohol permits in the area.
