Police Say OnStar Mistakes Delayed Rescue Of Woman Trapped In San Jose Ravine For 19 Hours

The family of a woman rescued 19 hours after she drove into a ravine in the East San Jose foothills afternoon thanked rescuers for finding her. Meanwhile, questions are being raised about the OnStar system in the woman’s car after it led crews to the wrong locations.

Search Suspended For Missing Teen After 2 Others Rescued Off Ocean Beach

A search for a 14-year-old boy lost in the water at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach Wednesday afternoon was being suspended for the night, although some rescue crew members will remain on the scene to keep watch, a fire official said Wednesday evening.
