“The largest open-booth show on the West Coast” showcases five fashion events each year made up of up-and-coming fashions including domestic, European and imported apparel and accessories. These booths are popular and attract many buyers of contemporary apparel and modern accessories. The year’s second fall fashion exhibition will be held from June 22 through 24 and the holiday/vacation fashion exhibition will be shown August 24 through 26. ABS is a family-owned business that has been a long-running retail store that caters to patrons who want a one-of-a-kind customized shoe. This trunk show promises to preview a spring and fall collection of SW combinations. ABS will host the designer, provide food and beverages and offer live music. This is sure to be a fun affair, and a great way to keep up on the latest in fancy footwear.

To mark its 38th year of introducing new, exciting booths full of your favorite crafts, food and fashion, the 2014 Union Street Festival will be featuring a ‘World’ theme. The Fashion World will be part of the six blocks of exciting booths and pavilions partaking in this festival. This is a smoke-free event. Also, no alcohol is allowed on the festival site. For those who want to sip some brew during their perusing, there will also be Craft Beer and Wine Tasting pavilions with food pairings – all based on the ‘Worlds’ from which these foods originated.

DG Expo is a two-day trimmings and textile exhibit held for manufacturers and designers, retailers, fabric stores, party planners and wholesalers. This exhibit is for those mills, converters, importers and distributors who have low minimums. Many exhibits have in-stock fabric and trims. This is a trade event and is not open to the public. Presented by Atelier Emmanuel Salon and Day Spas, this soiree is for the beauty, tech and fashion communities and will be an engaging show for those who are in the style and fashion industry. The event will feature trunk shows of local retailers and beauty vendors. There will be competitions for ‘most creative make-up’ and ‘most creative hairstyle.’ This year’s expo will put on a fashion bloggers runway competition, with bloggers competing for “Best Street Style Look.” Tickets can be purchased here.

If you are an avid fan of fashions and design from the 20th Century, this exhibition features a unique shopping experience for either the collector, the designer or the everyday fan of 20th century fashions and furnishings. Admission is $10 and tickets are good for both days. It is advisable to bring your paper ticket or photo of scanned ticket on your phone/tablets.
