In business since 2004, the original Giordano Bros. eatery in North Beach has been so successful, it opened a second location two years ago in the Mission district. While both locations feature an enormous Italian sandwich made famous in Pittsburg during the 1930s, the Mission eatery sells one of the tastiest and largest kielbasa sandwiches in the city, in addition to housemade pierogies made from 100 percent organic ingredients. Both locations sell a good collection of European draft and bottled beers, including Hoegaarden white ale and Stella Artois lager from Belgium and Weihenstephaner Dunkelweizen from Germany.

Its Mission Street location features beer garden-style seating one would expect to see in Munich beer halls. As the old saying goes, sausage is king here with many European varieties on the menu: Hungarian, Italian, Nuernberger bratwurst, knockwurst and vegan kielbasa. The original Rosamund on the Haight sells only Boyland vintage soda and Pelegrino but if customers prefer beer, they're encouraged to venture over to the equally famous Toronado beer bar next door.
