This group of bug lovers meets in Concord four times a year to share their experiences raising and breeding spiders, scorpions and cockroaches, among other things. The critters may be creepy and crawly, but they aren't as deadly as they are made out to be. The main event at our visit was a tarantula breeding.

Antique Poison Bottle Collectors Association
Eye on the Bay's Brian Hackney recently met up with one sweet lady with a rare collection- poison bottles. The bright labels on the bottles made for a clear warning in darker times. Now, the bottles create a fetching collection. The most expensive known single sale was $26,000.
