Dolores Park Charging Fees For Groups To Reserve Grass SpaceThe San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department is piloting a picnic reservations program that allows groups to reserve areas of the park. Fees for non-profit and school groups range from $33 for groups under 50 to $325 for those larger than 400, while for-profit corporations must pay anywhere from $260 for a group under 200 and a minimum of $1,300 for a special event. Making a reservation requires filling out an application and also putting down a $200 security deposit.
