Fiorina Cancer-Free

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KCBS)- U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina was absent from the campaign trail for good reason Tuesday.

She underwent the final phase of reconstructive surgery Tuesday morning, after being diagnosed with breast cancer last February.

Her doctors say she is now cancer-free.

Fiorina says she is happy to have concluded this difficult chapter in her life and is looking to get back to campaigning in the next few days.
