Police: Vacaville H.S. Fire Looks Like Arson

VACAVILLE, Calif. (KCBS)_ Vacaville police are investigating a suspicious fire that happened at Vacaville High School early Thursday morning.

Police say a portable classroom was intentionally set on fire on the campus.

School President Ed Santopadre says the fire started when someone threw something through a window.

The blaze was contained to the portable classroom and did not spread to two other portable buildings nearby.

It was extinguished quickly and caused only minor damage.

The classroom is being used for English classes and located at the west end of the campus.
