Suspect, Daughter Sought After Vallejo Woman's Murder
VALLEJO (BCN) - Vallejo police were looking for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a young woman in a Ninth Street home Wednesday night and were concerned for the safety of the man's 4-year-old daughter, who is believed to be with him.
Ashley Manigault, 22, was found dead of a gunshot wound around 10:50 p.m., Lt. Ken Weaver said.
Occupants of the home have been questioned but police identified 28-year-old Jonas Peacock as a suspect, Weaver said.
Peacock fled the residence with his 4-year-old daughter, Nyary Peacock, and police are concerned about the girl's safety, Weaver said.
Peacock is black, 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 260 pounds and is armed with a handgun, Weaver said.
Nyary Peacock is 3 feet tall and weighs about 50 pounds.
