Emma Roberts joins returning 'Scream' vets Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette for more thrills and chills in 'Scream 4,' in theaters April 15, and we have a first look at the new trailer!
Once again directed by Wes Craven, 'Scream 4' finds Sidney Prescott (Campbell) haunted by the endless 'Stab' sequels being cranked out by Hollywood based on her horrendous past. Although it's been 10 years since she was last attacked by the killer Ghostface, Sidney is trying to erase her reputation as a victim by becoming an acclaimed author. Of course, as soon as Sidney's begun pulling her life back together, Ghostface has decided to make a return appearance, and it's time for her to confront him again…
"We all reunite at the beginning of the movie," Courteney told ET when we visited the 'Scream 4' set, explaining that her character, Gale Weathers, has given up her job as a reporter to marry Deputy Dewey (David Arquette) and write more books. "She's written six Stab books and she has writer's block, and she's pretty bored, pretty miserable, pretty desperate, and all of a sudden some murders start happening and her life starts to look up. She likes a good murder."
