Neil Young To Receive Humanitarian Award At Junos

(CBS) - 2011 Grammy nominee Neil Young will be honored at Canada's Juno Awards this year with a Humanitarian Award.

According to Spinner, Young was selected primarily for his work in founding the Farm Aid concert series in 1985 with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp.

Young and his wife also created the Bridge School, located in Hillsborough, which educates students who struggle with severe speech and physical impairments.

The Juno Awards will be held March 27.
