UNION CITY (CBS/AP) — A man has been shot in the same Union City house where two men have been killed in the past nine months.

Union City police Lt. Ben Horner says a 22-year-old man was wounded in the home Sunday night and he’s hospitalized after surgery. His name hasn’t been released.

Last month, 49-year-old Ruben Gonzalez Partida was shot to death in the same house.

And last September, Humberto Llamas Diaz was killed in the house during a domestic dispute. There was arrest in that killing.

Investigators said that several generations of a family live in the Whipple Road house. Horner said gang activity and drug use are a common denominator in the shootings.

Too much hip hop music ,drugs and ghetto mentality fueling violence.

Bad luck, my good left foot! If several generations of gang bangers and illegals live in a house, it’s no surprise to find crime follows. As Captain Renoir says in Casablanca, “I’m shocked, I tell you, shocked.”
