NEWARK (CBS 5) – Hundreds of laid off Solyndra employees attended a special hi-tech jobs fair at Ohlone College in Newark Friday.

Former Solyndra competitors such as Ascent Solar, Solar City and others were competing for ex Solyndra employees – so much so that organizers had to limit attendance to 38 companies.

Many of the workers hadn’t seen each other since the company went under last month.
