Cyclist Hit By Car In San Francisco's Panhandle

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle at a notoriously dangerous intersection along San Francisco's Panhandle Tuesday morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.

The accident was reported about 9 a.m. at Fell Street and Masonic Avenue.

The bicyclist, reported to be in his late 40s, was taken to a hospital by an ambulance, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

The man's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, she said.
