4 Hurt In Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A group of people were struck by gunfire in East Oakland Friday night, an Oakland police officer said.

Reports of numerous gunshots came in around 10 p.m. in the area of 45th Avenue and International Boulevard, according to Oakland police Officer A. Frye.

Frye said four people were injured in the shooting. Three victims were taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland and one was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

All four victims suffered injuries not considered life-threatening, Frye said.

No suspect information was available, he said.
