2 Injured In Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Two people were injured in a shooting in Oakland Saturday evening but both are expected to survive, police said Sunday.

Police received a report of the shooting at 7:15 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Fruitvale Avenue and International Boulevard, an officer said.

Two adults suffered bullet wounds to the chest and were taken to a nearby hospital, police said. Both victims were listed in stable condition early Sunday morning.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
