SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF/LIVE 105) - Though it was recently rumored that British musical icon Morrissey will be retiring at the age of 55 because he has been "aging a lot recently," that rapid aging hasn't stopped the 53-year-old from booking a 33-city U.S. tour that starts in Boston in October and ends in Atlantic City the following month – including a stop on Nov. 16 in San Francisco.

Tour setlists will reportedly feature songs from his days as the frontman for the Smiths, fan-loved hits, cult classics, and unreleased songs.

Morrissey recently explained in an interview that he is "slightly shocked to have gone as far" as he has.

"This is my 30th year, and I've aged a lot recently, which is bit distressing for me, as it must be for everyone. The body changes shape and there's nothing you can do about it."
