OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Two suspects approached and shot at two people near Oakland’s MacArthur Bay Area Rapid Transit station on Wednesday evening, Oakland police said.

One of the two suspects was armed with a handgun and shot the two victims in the 800 block of Apgar Street. The shooting was reported at 5:25 p.m., police said.

Both victims were hit by the gunfire and were taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

The shooting occurred just a block west of the BART station.
