SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- The San Leandro BART Station reopened and service fully restored early Sunday morning after a shooting was reported there late Saturday night, a BART spokesman said.
Police received reports of shots fired in the station's concourse level just before 9:50 p.m. Saturday night, BART spokesman Jim Allison said.
No one was injured in the shooting, and police continue to search for the shooter.
The station was closed at about 10:10 p.m. and passengers were advised to head to nearby stations and board an AC Transit bus to reach the San Leandro Station.
