Burn Victim Found Naked In Santa Rosa Ditch; Possibly Related To Domestic Disturbance
SANTA ROSA (CBS/AP) -- Sonoma County Sheriff's detectives are investigating whether a domestic disturbance call and the later discovery of a naked, burned woman on the side of a road are connected.
Deputies investigating the disturbance report around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday found burned clothing in the driveway of the Santa Rosa residence.
Authorities say someone pounded on the door of a nearby fire station about a half hour later to report a woman screaming for help.
The woman was found in a ditch with second-degree burns on her face, arms and hands. Fire officials say she was upset and begging for water.
She was taken to a burn center in San Francisco.
