Pair Arrested For Shooting Near San Francisco's Fort Mason

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man and woman were arrested Sunday after an early morning shooting that critically injured a man outside of a party in San Francisco's Marina District, police said Monday.

Hun Saelee, 30, and Judiana Lau, 26, both of San Leandro, were arrested following the shooting, which occurred around 12:40 a.m. Sunday on Marina Boulevard near Fort Mason, where a Halloween costume party was taking place, police said.

As the victim, a 21-year-old Burlingame man, was leaving the party with his girlfriend, Saelee allegedly touched her inappropriately, prompting the victim to protest, according to police.

Saelee, who was wearing camouflage-style clothing, then went to his car and got a .45-caliber handgun out of the trunk. He began shooting, striking the victim in the head, and then fled in a white four-door vehicle with Lau, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening.

Later Sunday morning, investigators went to a home in San Leandro where they found the pair, with Saelee still allegedly wearing the same clothes as the night before, according to police.

A white Acura matching witness descriptions of the suspect vehicle was parked in the home's driveway and officers found a handgun possibly used in the shooting on the floorboard of the car, police said.

Saelee and Lau were both arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide and various weapons and assault charges, according to police.
