BERKELEY (CBS SF) – The annual holiday toy risk report compiled by the California Public Interest Research Group suggests that a number of potentially dangerous and toxic toys are available this year on store shelves.

CALPIRG’s 27th annual Trouble in Toyland report, released Tuesday, found substances such as lead, cadmium and phtalates, all of which can harm the development of young children, according to the report.
