Southwest Increasing Fees, Planning To Charge No-Shows

(CBS SF) - Southwest Airlines, famous for their "bags fly free" advertising campaign has plans of a slew of new fees next year.

Southwest will still allow travelers to bring two free checked bags, but plans increase the charge for a third bag from $25 to $75 and double the overweight fee to $100.

The airline will also bump up the early boarding fee from $10 to $12.50.

Another planned fee that may upset many loyal flyers is a no-show fee for restricted tickets not canceled before departure.
