A's Reliever Norberto Linked To Clinic Providing Performance-Enhancing Drugs

MIAMI, Florida (CBS Sports) -- Newly surfaced documents documents reportedly add five names to the list of ballplayers linked to Anthony Bosch's controversial Biogenesis clinic.

Those names are Oakland A's reliever Jordan Norberto, San Diego Padres shortstop Everth Cabrera, Houston Astros outfielder Fernando Martinez, San Diego Padres reliever Fautino De Los Santos and New York Mets prospect Cesar Puello.

Here's the heart of the matter regarding these five players: Sources said the players, like those who have been named in previous Biogenesis documents, were on a list as having received performance-enhancing drugs, although the documents are not proof that the players either received or used PEDs.

That original report linked a number of current major leaguers to Bosch, who is alleged to have been a prominent distributor of PEDs in South Florida. Among other names, former San Francisco Giants outfielder Melky Cabrera and Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees have been named in Bosch's clinical documents.
