Fire Damages Popular Waterfront Restaurant On SF Pier
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters responded to a report of a blaze at San Francisco's Pier 41 Friday morning that damaged a popular waterfront restaurant, according to fire officials.
About 3 a.m., fire officials received a report of a fire at the Pier 41 ferry terminal.
Firefighters responded to Pier 41, located at Embarcadero and Powell Street, just west of Pier 39, and found a fire burning in the Forbe's Island restaurant.
Fire Heavily Damages Restaurant that Floats Off SF's Fisherman's Wharf
Firefighters extinguished the blaze with a fireboat.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
