SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Police found a vehicle in Daly City believed to have fled after crashing into a house in San Francisco’s Outer Mission neighborhood Wednesday evening, police said.

The silver pickup crashed into a home near the corner of Florentine and Morse streets at 7:41 p.m., Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The building was severely damaged and the pickup fled. Police arrived and evacuated residents to make sure the home was safe.

A vehicle matching the description of the pickup was found later on Brunswick Street in Daly City but unoccupied, Shyy said.
