SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A 68-year-old woman was punched in the face and had her two purses stolen by two teenage girls on a San Francisco Municipal Railway light-rail vehicle in the city’s Bayview District on Tuesday night, police said.

The victim was sitting in the front of the Muni train when the two teens approached her and punched her, then stole the purses, which contained cash, a cellphone and other items, according to police.READ MORE: COVID Outbreak Among San Jose Police Officers Creates Issues For Patrolling
The girls, described as about 13 or 14 years old, fled from the Muni vehicle and had not been found as of Wednesday morning, police said.
