Man Arrested In Connection With 2 Milpitas Car Burglaries

MILPITAS (CBS SF) -- Police arrested a man suspected of burglarizing two vehicles outside of a Walmart store in Milpitas on Tuesday night.

Ellious Nicklan Dunson, 54, of San Jose, was arrested in connection to the burglaries, police said.

Police said two vehicles in the Walmart parking lot at 301 Ranch Drive, were burglarized between 7 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. The suspect took a black bag from each vehicle.

At about 10:15 p.m., officers patrolling the area observed Dunson walking behind the Walmart carrying two black bags.

Police stopped Dunson and searched the bags. Officers located $1,322 worth of stolen property taken from Walmart.

Dunson was identified as on probation for burglary out of Napa County and arrested for possession of stolen property and a probation violation. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
