SANTA CLARA (CBS/AP) — San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh avoided questions about linebacker Ahmad Brooks’ legal issues on Monday.
Brooks allegedly hit teammate Lamar Divens in the head with a bottle multiple times during an altercation on June 8 but avoided prosecution when the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges because of insufficient evidence.READ MORE: 49ers Win Wild Card 23-17 as Time Runs Out for Cowboys in Frantic Finish

The 49ers held the third day of training camp practice for rookies only on Monday. Veterans report on Wednesday.MORE NEWS: French Bulldog Stolen at Gunpoint During Castro Valley Armed Robbery
