
SAN MATEO COUNTY (KCBS) — A woman riding a bicycle was killed Wednesday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle on Skyline Boulevard in the mountains of San Mateo County.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Highway 35 and Elk Tree Lane, just south of the intersection with Highway 84 in Sky Londa.

Another CHP spokesman said the 50-year-old cyclist was headed northbound on Highway 35, when a white Mazda MPV minivan heading southbound made a left turn in front of the bicycle.
Police said the unidentified cyclist was wearing a helmet. A 22-year-old man from Fremont was driving the van.
