Pedestrian Struck By SUV in San Francisco's Tenderloin District; Driver flees

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Police are looking for the driver of an SUV that struck and injured a woman walking on the street on Tuesday morning in San Francisco's Tenderloin District and then drove away.

Police said a black SUV struck the woman at Turk and Leavenworth Streets at around 9:45 a.m..

The woman was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.

The extent of her injuries were not reported.
