“Gun smuggling? That’s a big thing,” said Fernando Austria, a patient.
According to the FBI, the 60-year-old dentist met with Yee and the undercover agent on March 11th at a restaurant in San Francisco. “My God, that’s ridiculous. That’s not good. He’s a dentist. What could he do with the guns?” Austria said.
Lim allegedly asked for a list of weapons the agent wanted, and said they would come from the Philippine military in Mindinao through his nephew.
Lim also allegedly claimed he could hook the agent up with leadership from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a group well known to Lim’s Filipino patients.MORE NEWS: Four Arrested, Guns Seized During San Jose Saturday Night Sideshow Crackdown
“M.I.L.F. are terrorists in the Philippines. I didn’t know that the dentist of my son is one of them,” Austria said.
