'Live in the Vineyard' Pairs a Weekend Full of Music & Food Festivities

NAPA (CBS SF) – What happens when you pair a glass of top tier wine with the most talented musicians and singers? You get Live in the Vineyard, a once in a lifetime event happening Friday, April 4 through Monday the 7th in the Napa Valley. This year's "LITV" feature a series of exclusive intimate acoustic performances by Sarah McLachlan, Colbie Caillat, O.A.R., Passenger, Fitz & the Tantrums, Mary Lambert and more.

Previous artists that graced the stage includes a variety of acts. Including The Goo Goo Dolls, Michelle Branch, New Kids On The Block, Delta Rae, Adam Lambert and Gavin DeGraw.

Live in the Vineyard also features the rock stars of the culinary world. This year's event includes celebrity chef Joey Altman, Michael Chiarello of Bottega Napa Valley, Executive Chef and Owner of La Toque Ken Frank and more.

It's not just music and food at LITV. It's the Napa Valley after all. Several of the events will take place at select wineries where they will also show off their very best. You will be able to get up close and personal with the winemakers as they guide through the process of crafting the perfect tasting wine.

Live in the Vineyard happens each year in April and November. A majority of the performances are held at the Uptown Theatre in Napa and various participating wineries in the area. More information can be found at their website, liveinthevineyard.com.
