STOCKTON (CBS/AP) — Police in Stockton were considering bringing homicide charges against a 37-year-old man following the death of his infant foster daughter.

Paul Teldeschi has been jailed since last month on multiple child abuse charges involving the 11-month-old girl he and his wife started caring for in December.
