High Wind Advisory In Effect For Bay Area Bridges

SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- A high wind advisory is in effect for Bay Area bridges Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Motorists on the Bay Bridge, San Mateo Bridge, and the Dumbarton Bridge are urged to use caution as winds reach up to 30 mph Saturday evening, according to the National Weather Service forecasters.

Winds are expected to decrease to below 20 mph after midnight. Gusts up to 35 mph are expected Sunday afternoon, according to forecasters.
