Narsai David: Citrus Sauce For Asparagus, Kale, Or Chard

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— If you're looking for something equally as fresh to put on the greens and vegetables your gardens are yielding, this is a recipe you should try.

It's a refreshing citrus sauce that goes well on asparagus, kale or chard. You can serve this sauce hot on a main course plate or at room temperature as an appetizer and it picks things up so wonderfully.

I should mention you don't necessarily have to grow these veggies in your own garden, as long as you have access to fresh produce at your local market or the farmer's market, you're in good hands.

Truth be told you could also serve this over a roast chicken or even some fish dishes. It's easy to prepare and it's easy to keep an extra jar of this on hand in the refrigerator.
