SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — An 18-year-old man was killed in a shooting in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Daniel Beltran, a San Francisco resident, was killed in the incident that occurred around 5 a.m. in the 100 block of Sixth Street, according to police.READ MORE: COVID Outbreak Among San Jose Police Officers Creates Issues For Patrolling
Officers responded at 5:12 a.m. to a 911 call requesting help at Sixth and Harrison streets, but they arrived there and did not find a victim, police said.

Police have since determined he was shot near Sixth and Mission streets, a few blocks north of the initial call.
